i have covered the 100kW 4age RWD conversion a number of times, but here goes again.....

****NB: there will be an article soon**

# DO NOT NEED the RWD intake manifold, since it is from a bigport version of the 4A-GE... 100kW is a smallport version. Get your 100kW manifold "cut'n'shut", which places the throttle body on the other end of the plenum and covers up where it originally was. Contact "Yellowrolla" from these forums if in sydney, and Anthony Kellam if in brisbane. You will need to increase the idle (unscrew) a bit to make the idle normal.

# You can use your sprinter gearbox no worries. Just need a spigot bearing for the 4A-GE flywheel, and a new clutch kit. I purchased the AE92 SX clutch kit, and got a different throw-out bearing which suits the T50 gearbox from the sprinter.

# You will need a wiring loom and computer (ECU). These are a piece of piss to wire up, and require only a little bit of electronics knowledge to get going. Try to find these from a private sale, since importers will charge a small mint for these.

# retain/replace the FWD water pump and water outlets, and read my conversion article on that here: http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=msg&t h=28710&start=0&rid=883&S=0e5a009058c2 5df234547fe97d17e5f7

# Upgrade the fuel system to enable EFI high pressure fuel supply. Most reliable way is a surge tank, lift pump and high pressure EFI pump. Lots of info on this in the forums.

# Get yourself some RWD extractors from Anthony Kellam. $260. Once engine is installed, get your 2" exhaust amde up at your local exhaust shop, and make sure to get an oxygen sensor installed just behind the extractors.

# Block off the water circulation around the throttle body with some gasket paper. This is the removable part from the bottom on the throttle body, you dont really need it in australia, just have a higher idle (1000rpm)

# Remove the engine mounts from your 4A-C out of the AE86, and put them on the 100kW 4A-GE. You will need to play around a little bit with spacers to get the throttle body support in place.

# I think thats about it. The rest is self explanitory i rekon.
