-What would be a good, easy brake/front end conversion,e.g bolt on in, with struts etc-maybe jdm ae86 trueno?or what will go on my struts?I'd like to stay with deep dish 13"s (obviously much wider than stock though, probably 7's or 8s) 14"s biggest.most MOney is going into the drive train, not the wheels or paint or interior(something it won't have-an interior!)!
xA6x struts, JDM ae86,. whatever else excites you - this has been discussed before, do a forum search
-Could I fit a jap lsd ae86 trueno diff with disks , assuming I could get one ? I mean just bolt it on to the ke70 suspension arms
Far as I know yeah
-How do I setup a 4age to run on carbies, e.g no computer, as goes a dizzy and stuff like that? I can get the carbies and manifold, so it just saves mucking about building an efi system(plus as I might get some psycho cams, it would be hard to run them on efi without spending $$$ [Smiley $$] .Of course If I get the computer and stuff for the 4ag, like a front cut, well I'll go efi and leave the cams and stuff alone.
Buy manifolds, buy carbs, get a suitable dizzy made up - probably a cheaper aftermarket EFI system could be cheaper
-Would the 5speed from the k-engine fit either engine easily, and survive being on either engine?
You want a T50, not a K50 box. Go rob an AE71, or buy an ae71 (either to wreck for bits, or to use as the project car)
-If I use the box for either the 2tg or the ae86 with its respective engine, will it bolt to te70 or ae71 g'box mounts, and will the bolt to the ke70 chassis?
If you want a T engine, rob the Xmember, 'box, etc. from a T18, if you use a 4ag, go rob an AE71 (see above)
-If I run the carby 2tg, fuel system form the old stock K engine should be okay? maybe a better pump.
Yeah, give it a good pump, preferably a big electric one
AND-anyone know where I can get some 240zg style bolt on flares?
Not sure where from, but they do exist, and they look sensational!
