OK its got something to do with my TPS...
as on my engine loom, there is a connector to the IDL in the ecu, which goes to the TPS, this has a plug on it to disconnect and to connect, when i disconnect it the engine runs smoother than anything, but idles at 1500rpm, when i had this IDL connected it was dieing at 3000rpm etc etc...
i need to find out what this IDL does,
i don't know why my loom has a connector on it, i bought the engine from a guy who was changing to a 20v motor... as it was in a Clubmen.... and so it does rev perfectly but it idles to high, but that could be also possibly cause i don't have my oxygen sensor hooked up, I'm not sure...
any help
