Danners Forums Junkie Location: Central Coast, NSW Registered: May 2002	7M-GTE - Changing Valve Stem Seals Sat, 21 February 2004 22:42 Hi guys, I'm a bit of a procrastinator and think its about time i change the valve stem seals in the poor old Soarer. My question is - does anyone know if the head needs to be removed from the block to fit them or can they be installed without "too much" hassle?? My car is going in for its dental checkup soon and as I already have the seals I thought the mechanic could put them in for me while its in the shop, i'd prefer to save a bit of dosh on the labour if possible and do it myself if the head needs to be taken off (add labour cost here!)
