He has a 7M powered one too.
He'll hate your mate though, he has the auto and the manuals are rarer than hen's teeth. I'm thinking it may even be a retrofit.

Overall they aren't a bad car.
Built pretty well, digital dashes hardly fail and the doors don't have the sagging problem that the 80 series do.
Manual 7M will go pretty well too.
Any probs with 7M's are well known and the fix is as simple as torqueing up the headbolts a bit more.

Oh and I agree with jza70-mel - ditch the tems and get normal springs/shocks much less hassle.

I have a 5-speed 1G-GTE version with factory sports suspension and it hasn't missed a beat in 3 years - could go a bit harder though. Rolling
