Checking now. piss easy huh ? looks like about 50 connectors there. i have the chevy nova " chilton's " and i'll run down what's here... it's prolly close. gives specs for 1992 VIN code 5 ... ( close enough ) engine controls oh.... you don't really need these ones.... which ones,,,, checking .... engine controls ignition blk/red 4 rpm signal input c2 blk/yel 3 ignition firing output c2 blk/red 1 ignition on signal C1 "" 7 C1 here ecm ident c1 12 cavaties c2 26 c3 16 igniter ident c1 6 c2 2 so we want ... never mind ooohhh i found it.... ha ha ha ha as to the above.... the computers are different... moving on... the 14 one right ? don't worry man i've got it all. labelled 14p ______0__OOOOOOOOOOO__0_______ E01 | =10 | STA | VF | NSW E02 | =20 | IGT | E1 | S/TH S/TH G-R STA cluth start relay ? yup B IGT from igniter ( coil ) not sure B NSW from ignition switch ST1 B-W auto? E01 BR E02 BR =10 L ( what ucken color is "L" lavender ?) =20 Y VF R-W E1 BR anyway.... i certainly do have the data . 6-98 chiltons chevy nova #8422 __________________________________________________ ______- oh fuck did i fuck that up... i'm lookin' at the wrong end.... from here on it's accurate ______ooooooo_______ L3 L1 VC VS THA BAT +B ECT L2 E21 STP SPD / +B1 this shows the plug (male) pinouts the bump (to secure) is on top.... / is enpty L3 from ect computer (MAP?) Y-R L2 "" Y-G L1 "" Y-L VC L-R VS Y-L THA Y BAT from "stop" fuse R-L ECT from cruiz control input P ( also ect comp ) E21 BR water thermo sensor / throttle position STP G-W to ECT computer SPD V-W to speed sensor .. +B +B1 so what's this ect computer and again.... i got mixed up ... it happens.... no worries so putting it all together .... one to battery (BAT) one to ignition signal (STP?) and one to start signal and one to earth o.k. so now i'm confused. what plugs into the 14 plug, and what plugs into the 14 socket on the computer?
