when your out of car or in the garage the engine had an obvouis knocking noise, i think i have done a bottom end bearing, just wondering how long it will ast if it is a bearing and will it do any damage(especially to the head)

thanks alot also could it be something in the head like a cam is loose , the motor is a 2tg,
