nahh it would be the 3s-gelc that is the full code for the original motor that came in the Aus st162 (thats what is says on the compliance plate on the firewall), in japan they also had the 3s-gelu which had about 10hp more than the Aus 3s-gelc there are usually just reffered to as the 3s-ge though.

but if it has a turbo on it it is more likely to be a 3s-gte which came in the celica GT4's and MR2's.

So check the comp plate on the firewall and also check on the side of the engine (on the cam belt covers) check waht the sticker (if it has one) says, it'll either be 3S-GE or 3S-GTE (if it's turbo), or it could be a custom turbo install on a 3S-GE.
