lumpy Forums Junkie Location: Adelaide, SA Registered: May 2002	Re: 87-90 SX Celica Questions Fri, 27 February 2004 02:07 Sounds like notchy gearboxes are common with these - a mate is getting his replaced ($500 just for the 'box!) as the 2nd gear syncho has been crunching for 2 years and now it won't stay in 5th gear at all. It may be hard to find one with a decent gearbox - however you could use it's faults as a "haggling" point, since it cost a bit to replace the gearbox. Leakig heater cores can be found on lots of cars. Just be thankful you're not the one replacing it! [Report message to a moderator]
