I have gotten quite a bit of information from Toyota Nation.com,where guys have been discussing turbocharging the 5S-FE that goes to the states and running boost between 5&8psi. To run more boost then we will invest in a set of Forged pistons and a CT26 from a 7M-GTE, some 2JZ-GE injectors and a fuel pump. The owner of the car doesn't want to part with his 3S-GE. Has a very low mileage (64000km).From reading some of the other post in this forum and other forums I also read of a water injection system made from using a fuel pump, cold start injector and a window washer reservoir and plumping it into the piping between the intercooler and the piping. Need to get more info on that and what are the benefits and disadvantages of doing that kind of setup.
I also heard the stock 3S-GE map sensor is no good for boost so installing the 3S-GTE map sensor will be a good idea.
