Sun, 29 February 2004 22:01 I think you will find like most motorsport classes Top Fuel is restricted in the motors they can use. Everyone basically runs the same block (replica 426 Hemi's with significant strengthening as you would expect) with restrictions on superchargers etc. There are also limits like 2 valves per cylinder etc. Mind you at 6,000hp alot of the flash technology just doesn't really help. Basically the cars are rolling billboards, no one expects to be able to walk into a showroom and buy one. But subconciously if you get the Toyota emblem flashed past you often enough it will have an impact, ezpecially if its winning. Callum [Report message to a moderator]
