Forums Junkie Location: Melbourne Registered: May 2002	Re: can 20 v throttles be bored out Tue, 02 March 2004 22:00 glen, yes they can be overboored - you can take the silvers out to nearly 46, blacks i'm not sure but probably 48 is a limit (same as beams 3sge kit) main thing if finding a set!! other thing is the cost - a mounting bracket has to be made to hold the t/b, then it has to be completly stripped then bored. new butterly & shaft has to be made. then reassemble. bottom line here is it works out comparable to have throttle blocks made as bill suggested. - in most applications they are the better option. generally the throttle blocks are about $180 ea + linkages T [Report message to a moderator]
