Yeah I have a timing gun.. Its my old mans.. and I have no idea how much they cost.. but they are simple to use..

to set the timing.. I undo the bolt on the distributor.. and then hold the light ofer the.. crank is it.. anyway there is a white mark there and the light flashes when the white mark goes past.. and you can see where its set at..

I adjust mine to about 2 on the scale, that gives me the best results.. anything over that and when I push the car I get pinging.. that thats not fun. Sad
