Tue, 02 March 2004 23:48 exedy is the performance branch of dakin...(and dakin australia are all a bunch of braindead tossers as far as im concerned! at least the guys that i was speaking to on the phone anyway) if the car's stock, you prolly dont need an exedy. if you do a lot of hard launches, and have money to splash around then its probably not a bad idea.. actually, exedy in japan make a lightened flywheel kit that replaces the stocky flywheel which is around 7kg with a 3.9 kg unit. from what i hear this thing is absolute porn! the kit comes with a clutch as well, so if youre bent on getting an exedy clutch, splash out a little bit extra and get the whole kit so you can do the flywheel at the same time. good luck with it.
