Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure that MA70's don't actually build up fuel pressure in the 'on' position. I would guess that JZA70s may be the same...

Correct - fuel pump only runs when the opening circuit is on, which is when the ignition is cranking and once the motor fires, if the motor stalls, the fuel pump will stop - unless you've bypassed that relay
