Mind you, it still needs a rack and pinion conversion to make it happen. There's a stack of work ahead. Cool

and if you measure it up, you'll find that you need a 470mm rack, with 350mm arms - just like my Datsun 240C (crown equivelant) does with the 1UZ in it. i'm at a similar stage to you with mine atm, making up the gearbox mount first, then the engine mounts.

i have a Fiat X1/9 rack with similar dimensions ( 570 centre, 300 arms) you can have for a very good price. only diff is, the ball joints are a 10mm stud, versus the 12mm one in the crown. one piece of 1.0mm copper pipe over the stud and it's fixed and you're away. i also have the steering arm.

changing from 350mm arms to 300mm arms introduces +/- 1.7mm toe at 110mm rebound and only 0.4mm of toe at 65mm - your crown will already have about 1.1mm of toe at 110mm rebound anyways, so the bump steer is negligible, and certainly not noticeable unless you like taking BFO speed humps at 60kph. when you lowered your engine into position, it would have brought the suspension down about 65mm-75mm from full rebound - so 110mm is quite a bit.

hope this helps man. if you need the rack, just PM me.
