my gt4's been running on 14psi for most of its life .. the bottom end is still in excellent condition , but i think the higher boost pressure may have contributed to my head gasket going pop .. ( aslo the fact ive done 210 thoussnd KM's )
Outside of the head gasket mine still shows a near perfect across the board compression test result , and blows no smoke ( pistons arent worn out yet )
Im also running the 13v fuel pump mod - to supply adequete fuel ..
My oppionion - if you choose to up the boost - maybe look at upgrading your head gasket, and doing the fuel pump mod - the rest of the motor wont be worried at all by 14psi ..
