unless you're running low boost (6-8psi) I think you'll find the stock GZE cooler too restrictive.
My cooler is an overkill, its 600x300x60mm. You dont need to go this far unless you're planning on making some really serious power for a 1.6 litre. As far as factory cores go, on a budget i'd rather have a series 4 RX7 cooler than either a GZE or supra cooler. much better internal design, less flow restriction, good cooling properties.
probably the best factory core that will fit your car would be a mitsubishi Evo Lancer or VR4 Galant intercooler. bit more expensive than a series 4 one though.
