As long as the wheel offsets are kept between the 50mm factory setting and the usual 45mm aftermarket offset you can pretty much put anything on the back, fronts are 7x16,7.5x17 and 8x18 max without mods and 205,215,225 tyres respectively
Ok, I've had 16x8 front and 16x9 rear with 225/50 and 245/50 on mine both with 50mm offset (off the jza80 supra) the rears fitted with room to spare and no rubbing, the fronts were a problem and the struts and inner plastic guards had to be modified to clear the tyres and rims.
I now have 18x8's 45mm offset with 235/40 and 255/35 and have not rolled the guards. standard front struts clear ok and still have the modified front plastic inner guards so no problems with rubbing
