gmsta27 Regular Location: Fl Registered: February 2003	Re: 15sec 2TG Mon, 08 March 2004 01:29 The cars are running out of air you might try changing the venturis in the carbs open them up and re size the jets to match the air flow. My car would run strong until 6500-7000 then plateau out on the power like it hit a flat spot. I eventually ended up taking out the large venturis and rejetted the carbs it will now pull all the way to 8000 If I stayed in it that long I usually shift out about 7500 when driving hard. Still runs on the bottom and around town doesn't do much for milage though. The carbs are 44mm mikunis and the engine is a 2tg. The ports have been matched and it is running a 304/288 cam set up with headers and a 2.25 in exhaust. Greg [Report message to a moderator]
