IRA11Y Forums Junkie Club Member Location: sydney Registered: May 2002	Re: High flow downdraught carby for my 4AFC Thu, 22 August 2002 05:42 why dont you just get the 18R solex mikuni set, I know where you may be able to get the factory manifold and theres plenty of mikuni sets available at the moment it seems and they usually go pretty cheap..around $250 a set, toyota still rate this as the best carb! Oz Craig...how do you figure you wont pass emissions??? firstly you would be modifying carb to carb...as long as the the hose from the charcoal cannister is connected to the carbs and you have a legal air filter setup there is no reason why you would not pass emmisions, if youre worried about the exhaust emmissions (which are still not done here) then you just detune the carb for the test.
