I just know a mate that has a brand new VY SS Ute and he got it in that purple colour and a few weeks after he had it a cat scratched his bonnet so he got out cut and polish and it went a queer colour so he took it back to Holden and turns out the car was that green colour once and then something happened to it in the factory and they resprayed the entire car (must have pulled it appart or was never together in the factory in the 1st place) and painted over the green with purple!! He was really shitty and they wouldn't refund the car and said they will just paint it purple again!
Wonder if some of these cars are horror stories like that?

Ahhhrrrg... Remind me not to cut and polish my car. mind you I wouldn't mind a respray the factory spray on the ute leaves a little to be desired. paint runs in the tailgate thin paint in other places.
