looking at my GZE flywheel today, i cant see how you could fit a decent size pressure plate to it if you did machine off the extensions & redrill it.
the GZE has a 225mm clutch plate. The pressure plate mounts away from the flywheel surface on the extensions mentioned. This appears to be so that you can run the large clutch plate (225mm) with a relatively small pressure plate diameter.
the 3TGTE clutch is also 225mm, however the pressure plate mounts flush with the flywheel like most toyota setups.
BUT. the 3TGTE pressure plate (which is the same size as most supra non turbo clutches) is definately too big in diameter for the GZE flywheel, despite them having the same 225mm clutch plate.
so what can you use?
