GZE Problem?? Fri, 23 August 2002 02:12 Go to previous message
Hi all,

A friend of mine recently bought an imported 4A-Gze for his AE-86, fresh from japan with 90,000 kays on it. Problem is one of the cylinders has next to no compression. is it possible that a valve is stuck open or the like???(surely it couldnt need re-ringing already.....!!!!)
Also there is a shitload of wot looks like old oil dried up and caked all over the cams. is this normal?? is it likely that all it needs is a strip down and clean??
Any help is appreciated
