i think your best bet here would be to buy an import silvia and do not register it. you can get them for around $4-6K from places like ichiban (dont think they have one at the moment tho). if you import it, you can get one with minor mods already, then you can mod it how you want without worrying about the legals. ie you can have rose-jointed control arms, full cage, fully stripped interior etc... the money you save on rego and other crap you can put towards a car trailer which will cost you approx $3K. it will all be cheaper than a sprinter in the long run, cause they are a better car from factory to drift in, im under the impression that sprinters are a harder car to drift in unless in the hands of someone with pretty good skills. that guy at the intitial drift meet at oran park in the yellow sprinter for example. he was very talented Shocked
