I ve been taught to ways to get them right. One is just turn the screw in and then turn it out 1 1/2 - 2 turns and that about it or start the engine then turn the air fuel screw in until the engine just starts dieing then turn it back out about 1/4 - 1/2 turn and thats about where it should be.
