Sometimes with import engines like that, they do have stuff all comp when you first bring them home - mine was like that on 2 cylinders. But when you start them up and let them run for a while, they often come good and can still lead long useful lives. After a few minutes of running, mine went from having 2 thirds of stuff all comp to 180psi all round, and has stayed that way ever since. And they often have that crap built up all over them from no oil changes...

But hey, who am I to argue, good an excuse as any for a rebuild + a turbo. Lets know how it goes!
