Tue, 16 March 2004 23:32 celicamad wrote on Tue, 16 March 2004 20:42 dale sorry a weekend is impossible for me as many guys arnt open and i work Saturdays i definatley will come to Sydney but it will be a week day and after the Nationals 9-11 april one way to prove if the e boost is doing its job is to simply clamp the actuator line close to the compressor housing .obviously dont let it boost past 20 psi . but if boost comes on faster then the e boost can be improved on at 20 psi my relief valve gave 0.034 psi after the valve and the valve opening time is 0.026 secs(this is the crucial point) as far as comparing the two controller back to back . we are having a Toyota Nationals dyno day in Newcastle in about two months .The dyno shop sells both e boost and my controllers and is happy to run a comparison . im always happy to do try before you buy with my controllers provided you come to me we will organise sometime to test it, i would rather test it on our dyno as i have 30 runs on it from this car and will know exactly what it is doing, so any change will be easy to pick up, ill organise to get one off you and ill put it on the car at the dyno day and will do it infront of 20 people so everyone can see the results, ill shoot you a email about getting the valve off you, also i have used heaps of the NEW turbosmart bleed valves and they dont tend to spike at all, used on a external gate and it held 18psi perfecly, not moving more than .2 psi Dale [Report message to a moderator]
