If you lost oil pressure, it could be that you've seized the engine...then you may be fucked.

There are other numerous possibilities though...your oil pressure guage may be crapped...I've heard of oil pressure lights carking it it just as an engine's oil pump breaks, leaving the driver unaware of the hell that is about to break loose Smile

Try starting the car out of gear (in neutral) it could just be that your clutch release bearing (?) is fuxored if you are the kind of guy who starts the car in gear with the clutch in. Driving without a decent clutch is a bastard as well.

Try seeing if you can move the engine by the crank - take the car out of gear, get a 17 or 19mm socket wrench or ring spanner (I think it's 19mm, can't remember exactly) and try to rotate the engine, if you can't at all no matter how hard you try, then it's likely that your engine is seized.

Just some suggestions...if you are positive your oil pressure dropped to like 'zero' before the car stalled, then it's likely that you have seized the bastard, and it's time to get a half-cut Smile

Oh and it could be your electrics as well, check the battery voltage reading thingo...
