the head / extractors have been ported and its got differnt pistons in there so it has a higher compresion.
the guy at this carbie place said it needs the fuel pump
i doubt it now though
thats why i wanted the second opinion i think he's just interested in the $$
i spoke to another guy who said it sounds like the power valve (whatever that is)
he said he'll recon a webber and make an adapter plate fit it and tune it for $350
All the toyota wreckers are bloody rip offs over hear as u know i got quoted $300 for the electronic igniton of a 5m so you can imagine what they would quote for the rest
i'll do the ring around and get some prices but the place i rang is the biggest toyota wreker in WA
i dont want to bring the tank back to the dodgy fck who made it so that would be more $$ to get it put in there + finding the efi pump from an ma70
