Brake lights on SW20 Wed, 17 March 2004 11:24 Go to previous message
Hello,

Well....isn't this embarresing, I was trying to change my indicator fluid and I smashed my brake light Confused

Seriously though, when I bought the car one of the rear brake lights were out. Anyway I pulled back the material in the boot(assumed it would be similar to my TA23....not so), it look as if all the globes were on the outside. Anyway looked at the globe array(I dunno what to call it) and there is a small screw that seemed to be holding it all onto the back. Removed this, it loosened the whole light setup, but it still seemed very firm. I was wondering if I just need to be abit rougher and that one screw is all that holds it in, or is there a secret? Want to get this changed as its one less thing to get defected for, and its just safer.
