Well, this is the way I see it. 1. If it was broken down, the windows would be up and the car locked. And frankly, it wouldn't even be left for more than one day out in the sticks. It would have been towed pretty much straight away back home or to a repairer. 2. If it was stolen, I'd never want to see it again, so I'd be doing the original owners a favor by towing it to my house to give it a new good home as spare parts or a restoration.
