since you are located at "ya mum" - i really dont know what self serve auto wreckers you have local...
Here in sydney we have Pick N Payless. Down there there is about 7 corollas with factory oil cooler setups. AE82 twinkys, AE92 sx/GTi, and AE95 (4wd) all have these oil cooler setups. Take off the exhaust manifold and there should be a sandwich plate between the oil filter and the block.... you will need a large socket to get it off though.
Then just take the banjo bolt and fitting from the sump, a few of the hoses and the cooler itself and you should be able to go home and screw around with fitting that. At the most you will have to buy new oil hoses (wow, thats not expensive!).
