well when u wheel spin of the line yr engine revs higher and doesnt sort off bog down

and it sort of sling shots u at the middle to end and u get better top speed

if u get very good traction yr engine sort of bogs on the line

it launches hard but the revs then need to biuld back up and they dont build up as quick as when u r wheel spinning so yr mph is down but because of the good start u dont spend lost time wheel spinnin in one spot so u get better time

its hard to explain but the fact is better mph when u have some wheelspin

better et time when u have good traction

u may know alot about drag racin

theres is alot to learn about drag racin
im no expert but have been sort of in the drags for 14 yrs

my old car ran 12.2 sec but it ran 120mph

now a car that can run 120 mph is a low 11 sec car

but then when u do get traction yr car then runs say about 117 mph to get that low 11 sec pass

its hard to explain but they are the facts
bit of wheel spin higher mph
very good traction low mph better time

remember we r not talkin 5 seconds of wheelspin
we r talkin about small wheelspin then gradualy gettin traction after 60ft mark

if u cant understand this then go buy a book

maybe the very fast cars dont apply to these rules but to cars runnin 10 to 15 sec times i think its applicable
