So I bought a Tridon generic Thermo Fan Switch (as labeled on the box) 0n at 97/off at 92 deg. Fitted it to the new fitting in the new radiator and the fan stays on.

Turns out that this switch is for some reason on until temp, then turns off. Is this normal and as I have been told used to switch a different type of relay (normally closed)? I am using the headlight relay in the fusebox from the engine concersion (earth switched) hence the reason I wanted to switch it through the rad switch.

Couldnt find a web site for tridon themselves or a site with a wiring diagram for the switch. Can anyone shed some light pls.
