You make it sound like an open diff which has the one wheel spinning constantly, only that you have the other one attached with springs so when the driven wheel turns, the springs stretch a bit before 'locking' the other wheel and then turning both together ... Let us know how it works - it doesn't sound as crude as a locked diff but as to whether it works, those better be some strong springs ... [Report message to a moderator]
