are you after driving lights or fog lamps? if it's the former then you have to tap into the high-beam wire, not the park light.
If it's the later, tap into the low-beam wire.
either way, imagine your car with fog lamps on driving towards you in the fog ... do you really want to inflict unwarranted glare and irritation on fellow road users?
