Pulled out all the intake valves last night prior to giving it a port job on the weekend, and there is heaps of room for improvement.
As for figures-it's all a bit arbitrary at the moment. First time it made 211 rwkw on 9-10 psi through the big converter. When it was on the dyno the second time with 13-14 psi the converter was flashing out to 4500. With the limit set at 5000 there wasn't much room for a power run so we didn't bother-at a guess though, i'd say 220-250 kw though. The torque should be over 700nm flywheel-and considering it took axle straps and 3 guys in the boot to stop it wheelspinning I'm pretty confident (and that was with a 3.23 ratio diff).
As for the new turbo, I'd like to hit the 300rwkw mark, although a power number isn't what I built this combination for. With the modified combustion chambers I'm aiming for 18 psi or so. Ultimately what I'm looking for is huge torque from as few revs as possible to give me a good ET.
Mind you of course, until I actually put my mone where my mouth is this is all just heresay and PkW (Pub kW). All should become a little clearer though when it goes back together with a stock converter and I get it to the track for a run-'when the flag drops, the bullshit stops' or so they say....
I wouldn't mind going in the odd dyno day once its done as well.
