I'm led to believe 9.5 mm lift and 272 degrees duration is the limit for the engine remaining non interference (in a 2JZ anyway). The VVTi engines ARE interference. LOL at finding the tensioner on the ground. Good work! Replace the timing belt. It's good maintenance even if it isn't fucked. Loctite the tensioner retaining bolt. You'll need a vice and a 1.5mm diameter nail to keep the tensioner in place as you set up the timing belt. [Updated on: Fri, 26 March 2004 05:19] [Report message to a moderator]
