i have an 88 camry and it does similiar things. idles at about 1500rpm for the first few minutes and sometimes continues to do it for about 10 minutes. i am interested in finding this 'cold start injector'. My car is the same when it comes to starting it cold. i can crank the engine over for atleast 10 seconds before it will start on a cold morning or if i havent used it so far that day. But if i simply turn the key on and off really quickly, so the starter motor hardly even has a chance to spin, and then try cranking, the car starts instantly. Its got me confused and i must admit it doesnt look good when you are proud of your car and it takes 2 turns of the key for it to start. Any help with this will help me out too.
