well since I spun my rod bearings I descided to polish and port the head. There is a lip, and a weld scar on the intake side. The lip is only about .051mm but it is there.My combustion chamber has 85,000 mi on it . Didn't look too bad but it wasn't perfect So I will be cc that once I finish with the valves and seats. Speaking of seats there is quite a large edge protruding from the valve seat that the air hits on the way to the combustion chamber ( .625 - 1.3mm). Not sure if this is significant but I was thinking of polishing them off.
