I don't entirely agree that GT-Fours are expensive to maintain... Apart from a regular supply/change of oil & go juice and a couple of $15 rubber boots (steering rack and CV's) I haven't had to really repair anything...

Yes fuel consumption can be bad at times, however, any turbo will be bad (my KE20 sucks down 25ltrs in 150kms if I drive hard).

My insurance is only $1400 with Justcar and I'm under 25 and the cars insured for 18K.

A tool worth about $20 will fix any problems with getting to the oil filter and if you can't work out how to change the spark plugs then you should go buy a Hyundai or something with 5 year warranty & service plan.

Parts can be difficult to get... but thats much the same for any 10+ year old import or locally delivered car that wasn't sold in super high volumes...

The GT-Four doesn't really need any mods to be enjoyable... mine is stock apart from the mags and it still goes reasonably hard...
The main point of the car as far as I'm concerned is that its fairly rare to see these days (esp the Group A) and you get a LOT of looks!
