I was thinking the exact same thing..
I know a lot of ae86 suspension components are the same, so you won't have a problem sourcing parts..
If i had money, I'll get like 8kg springs at the front, 6kg springs at the rear. Short stroke shokers all round, and some decent sways... That'll get you sliding good... makes a very unconfortable street car tho.
strip everything out of the car.. including the backseat, and get yourself a 4age 100kwater... Should be mighty fast.. Considering how much the car will now weigh, the power to weight ratio should be enough for you to have some decent fun..
Getting an LS for the Ke70 is a ripp off. You'll either have to adapt, or get one from japan, which will set you back thousdands either way.. Go locker, or try one of those cheapo phantom grip LS thingy's ...
