Tue, 30 March 2004 02:56 yeah I was hoping witzl would raise his head , I realise that the 5" response speakers are sold as individuals, but I figure I might as well get something a bit better and only have to buy them once. I only wish I had the room for 6" but it just isn't going to happen and look stock like I want it too (don't want it standing out). BTW I'm getting them through electus so thats a bonus.. (bit cheaper, prbly not as cheap as you still tho ) Also I was looking at the 12" Profile Polycone Subwoofer (I have a 4x100rms amp that I was going to bridge to drive it) The reason I was looking at it was because jaycar also sell a 35l box for it (I know the tuning isn't as good, but the size of the box is nice and small and its cheaper than making one really), do you feel that the tuning of the small box lets it down? I guess I can always decide to build a bigger box later if I feel it does let it down a lot...seems to have good power and sensitivity...
