This is not correct. Sparco, Velo, and Recaros are all fine for street use once engineered![/quote]
And when did you last check the rules .. Tonight .. I don't know which state you are in , but i just went to buy some Seats here in Victoria from Revolution Race Gear , Pro Sparco model , asked there if they had any ADR complying seat , They said "no sure thing anymore" , I thought this was a be strange so called Brown Davis Motorsport who build ADR seat fitting kits for 4x4 etc and cars , and build Cams approved roll cages , And got the answer that the Rule had changed , and the only Seats which comply are Saas . So then to get a second opinion i call a engineer from the Vic Roads list , he didn't know too . He called me back after checking because he had been on Holidays and was not sure , And the answer was the same .... I feel i sorry my friend who just brought some Sparcos , top of the line model to , and just took his car to be engineered .
I think i would pay to check in your state , and sure the engineer may not give a shit , just watch it if you get pulled over and your car taken away for three months .
