Wed, 28 August 2002 02:40 I recon there should be something with toymods that do a conversion. Like a "Conversion Workshop", get a group of guys together that are enthusiasts (toymods members), borrow a workshop or something similar (decked out garage), and spend a weekend doing the conversion. For a lot of the normal engine swaps it should be able to be done in a weekend. For all the extended ones, after the physical conversion (engine and gearbox in) if it then needs wiring, get another member to tow it to an electrician (that has been recomended by a member). There needs to be a list of good workshops, and bad workshops, otherwise people will keep going to the bad ones! And yeah, BD4s (bastards) burnt me too. Charged 4 times the original quote and ended up not doing anything I wanted them to do (they make you write out a list). Not going back. [Report message to a moderator]
