not sure about 30psi. but they should handle up to 20psi.
apparently you can buy lighter or stronger springs for them.
i run one on my ca18det

they are specifically made for engines above 1.5L.
they make a nice rushing air sound. loud enough to hear if you are on the footpath, but it's not going to attract attention 100m down the road.
