Aaaargh, this one caused me a bit of strife!
I went through a few clutches with mine. Firt clutch I used was a Daikin Exedy 'Extreme' clutch kit, died after about a week. Then I bought the same thing again but with the 3 puck ceramic plate. Easy to drive, lasted a bit longer than the first one, but still weak as piss!
Now I'm using one made by Direct Clutch in QLD, seems to be a good thing. Cost wasn't too bad, $300 for the kit, can't complain. I'm using a standard type plate in it, but you could get it with a ceramic if you want to give your car a bit of a hiding.
As for T50's, mine lasted about 5000kms, without being given a REAL hiding (but still plenty of enjoyment...) before it stripped all the teeth off of 2nd gear (on the way home from the last dyno day!) i drove the car home (Sydney to Melbourne), then for a few weeks afterwards like this, but I'm now in the process of putting a W box in it. My suggestion would be to shove a W box in it in the first place, save busting a poor innocent T50 - they're tough, but still quite breakable when being fed multiple times the original torque. (As are W boxes I spose!)
