Wed, 28 August 2002 06:33 Well, the reason I used a 4A instead of a 3sgte in mine is because it was a whole lot easier/cheaper. I already had a 4ac in my ae86, so I had a t50/engine mounts etc. etc., therefore it was relatively easy. Remember, a 3sgte is gonna need all the parts a 4A is and more e.g. flywheel, starter motor problems etc. as well as making a turbo manifold etc. Still, if (when??) I break my 4a, I may well put a 3sgte in anyway... I've already scrounged the bellhousing, mounts, etc. Jonoze, unfortunately my tailshaft already has copped the knife. The guy that did it the first time didn't weld the weights on too well, and they fell off. Because it was going to cost $ to rebalance it, I got another guy to swap the yoke/balance it again anyway.
