Wed, 28 August 2002 09:00 hell yeah! having a 1.8L was embarrassing enough for the commonwhore drivers, now having a 1.6L will be an a few more nails in their coffin! I think I'll go with a 5 button ceramic kit from Direct Clutches. I called them today and their prices are reasonable, and at least they actually know what i'm after, unlike most of the local auto parts stores! I dont know why, but i've never managed to break any gears when using T50's behind my 3TGTE making ~180kw at the wheels. the only thing that failed was the input shaft bearing or 2nd gear synchros from slamming gears on the track. I have a W57 here, just need $$$ to buy a bellhousing off those friendly helpful guys at Dellow I'm still interested to know how a supposed supra box 'specialist' can tell me that all supra boxes are the same!!! MRShin: when you bought your bellhousing, did they ask you if you had a W55 or W55-58 box?? Phil [Report message to a moderator]
